This week has reminded us all that what we do is seen and appreciated, feedback from a local social worker below; (names blocked for confidentiality)

Dear Flo's Friends Team,

I wanted to take a moment to pass on my sincere thanks and recognition for M following a recent visit involving B.

M was an enormous help during what was a very challenging situation. From the moment she arrived, she approached B with kindness, professionalism and confidence. What particularly stood out was that she did not make supporting us to help B into the ambulance seem beyond her role or responsibility. Instead, she immediately stepped in, engaged with B, and provided practical support without hesitation.

At a time when B was reluctant to accept help and there were significant concerns regarding her wellbeing, M’s calm and compassionate approach made a real difference. She was able to build on the relationship she has with B and successfully encourage her to leave the property and enter the ambulance for the medical assessment she urgently needed.

M’s willingness to assist, her dedication to B’s welfare, and her collaborative approach were invaluable. Her actions undoubtedly contributed to a positive outcome for B and were greatly appreciated by everyone involved.

Please pass on my thanks to M. I believe her efforts deserve recognition, and I wanted to ensure that her excellent work was acknowledged.
